On Friday 2nd May myself and 4 friends went to the Baytree to celebrate my Birthday.We ordered the Afternoon Tea and were amazed at how it was presented and the quality of the food offered. One of my friends has gluten problems and a specially adapted platter was made up for her. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we have nothing but praise for this restaurant and staff. Will recommend it highly and certainly return again.

Went for afternoon tea for a birthday, was absolutely amazing, one of us is vegetarian and they had made a separate platter which looked lovely, staff was friendly and attentive, first time of visiting will definitely be returning. Well done bay tree

My partner and young family went to the Baytree to have breakfast. And I highly recommend it. the staff were very welcoming and friendly. my two young sons loved the huge milkshakes they had along with the pancakes. (and the milkshakes were indeed delicious as I stole a little bit from my youngest! don't tell him!) I had the potato hash brekkie and that was gorgeous. also you had the option of sitting outside by the river. next time I'm in Retford, I'll drop in there again
